Multiennial, shrubby weed. Leaves pinnatifid, upper stalk leaves often only tripartite, upper side hairless, underside whitely tomentose. Flowers late summer to early autumn with numerous small yellowish to red-brown strongly fragranced flowers. Sandy soil.
