Weeds Controlled
CLOVOTOX controls White Clover, Black Medick and Lesser Trefoil, Chickweed, Mouse-ear, Selfheal and Plantains and reduces Pearlwort, Bird-foot-trefoil and Creeping Buttercup.
Timing of Application
A single midsummer or late season application is recommended for best results, the grass and the weeds should be in active growth at the time of treatment. Do not apply during drought. In most years, treatment at any time between April and September will be effective.

A second treatment will seldom be required but may be necessary in the event of very heavy infestation with clovers. The interval between the first and second treatment should be not less than 6 weeks.

Bracken
White Clover
Mowing
Close mowing should not be carried out during the 3-4 days preceding or following treatment with CLOVOTOX. Avoid drift as much as possible by keeping the nozzles at the correct height and working only under conditions of little or no wind. Small amounts of CLOVOTOX spray may cause serious injury to herbaceous plants and fruit and vegetable crops.
Application to Established turf
Spraying Machine: Use 11 litres in 100-1000 litres, preferably 300 litres, of water per hectare.

Knapsack Sprayer: Use 100 ml in 9 litres of water to cover 90 m2.

Watering Can: Use 14 ml in 9 litres of water to cover 12.5 m2. Use a fine rose.

Application to Young Turf
CLOVOTOX may be applied to newly-sown turf at HALF RATE: i.e 5.5 L/ha provided all the grass seedlings have reached the 2 to 3 leaf stage. Volumes of water as previously stated. This treatment will give excellent control of Chickweed and Clover seedlings.

Wash equipment thoroughly with water and wetting/detergent fluid immediately after use. Spray out in a safe place. Refill with clean water and leave overnight. Spray out again before storing or using for another product.

Avoid drift onto all broad leaved plants.
